Know the signs of diabetes and prevent it.

Channel News Asia Lifestyle's recent article revealed that people often ignore or miss common signs of type 2 diabetes such as thirst & urination, fatigue, weight loss, blurred vision, slow-healing sores, or frequent infection resulting in delayed treatment.

Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, also shared at last year’s World Diabetes Day - “If nothing is done, by 2050, it is estimated that about one million Singaporeans will be living with diabetes.”

While there is a chance you can reverse pre-diabetes, prevention is better than cure. Keeping a healthy lifestyle and regular health screening are a few ways you can prevent these diseases from developing further and to start timely treatment.
